Mango Hill State School has a vibrant school community and an
important part of that community is the Parents and Citizens Association. The P&C is made up of mums, dads, carers,
staff and members of the broader school community who come together to
make our school the best that it can be.
What does your P&C do?
Amongst
other things as a P&C we:
Among our fundraising events we have a spell-a-thon, we run sausage sizzles, we have a warehouse shopping and we now how our renowned Mud Run as our premier fundraising event.
Why do we raise funds?
First and foremost, we raise money to support the school. At
present we subsidise busses used for swimming lessons in the junior school and school camps for Years 4 and 5 as well as contributing to cost of the Year 6 graduation. Our P&C are about to embark on our greatest challenge - to
raise funds for new school hall that will be big enough to host our end of year
concert.
When do we meet?
The P&C generally meet on the 2nd Monday of
the month at 6:30pm.
