Enrolling at our school is an important and exciting process.

Mango Hill State School has an Enrolment Management Plan to ensure adequate provisions for all students who live in the Mango Hill catchment.

Families in catchment

Parents or carers wishing to enrol children (if living in catchment) need to complete the Application for Enrolment (PDF 4371KB) , for each child wishing to be enrolled and submit to the Principal via e-mail, post or dropping into school office. The Enrolment agreement (PDF 73 KB),  Internet Agreement (PDF 150 KB) and Consent Form (PDF 1418KB) also need to be submitted.

Mail: Mango Hill State School, PO Box 1177, North Lakes Qld 4509.

If emailing the application for student enrolment, please leave the signature block. This can be signed at the interview.

Please provide proof of residency with your application.  Current proof of residency at the address indicated can be provided by way of one of each of the following:

  • One primary source - a current lease agreement, rates notice or unconditional sale agreement; and
  • One secondary source - a utility bill (eg electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.

Along with enrolment application forms we will need to sight each child’s original birth certificate.

Once the application for student enrolment is received, you will be contacted to arrange an enrolment interview.

You will need to prepare for the interview and bring certain documents for the Principal to sight. Without the correct documents the enrolment cannot proceed.

Please bring the following items to the enrolment interview:

  • You and the children applying for enrolment;
  • A current passport and visa is required for any child born overseas.

Transition Statements

If you are a kindergarten teacher or a future Prep parent, please be advised we welcome kindergarten transition statements at the following email address:

Transition statements are an important piece of information, as we work in partnership with our kindergartens and our families to transition our students successfully to school.

Mango Hill uses a Student Resource Scheme (PDF, 169kb) instead of booklists. Please consider payment of the Student Resource Scheme and Voluntary Contribution.

Voluntary contribution (PDF, 124 KB).

Out-of-Catchment Applications

Families wishing to enrol who live out of catchment, need to complete an Out of catchment EOI 2022.pdf and submit this to the office.  These EOIs will be accepted from 1 March each year for the following school year. Names will be recorded in order of submission and added to the waiting list.  You will be contacted if we have vacancies.  For students currently enrolled at another school, we ask that you attach their most recent report card. For Prep 2020 applications, please also include the Prep Questionnaire (PDF 105KB) .

Mango Hill State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school’s catchment area.  Because of enrolment capacity and growth, Mango Hill State School may be unable to meet this obligation in the future unless action is taken now to manage enrolments.

We have a free weekly playgroup each Friday morning from 9:00am-10:00am catering for toddlers through to pre-prep children. All parents are welcome to attend. Miss Livy, our playgroup coordinator looks forward to seeing.

Don't forget your child's hat and water bottle!
