Enrolment
Enrolling at our school is an important and exciting process.
Mango Hill State School has an Enrolment Management Plan to ensure adequate provisions for all students who live in the Mango Hill catchment.
Prep 2025 Enrolments
Enrolments will open for Prep 2025 from 1 March 2024. Enrolment interviews for Prep 2025 will begin in Term 3, 2024. Prep 2025 Application for Enrolment packs will be available from 1 March 2024 and must be completed and returned back to the school to book an enrolment interview.
Enrolments will open for Prep 2026 from 1 March 2025.
Enrolment Enquiry
Parents or carers wishing to enrol children need to click here to complete the Enrolment Enquiry Form for each child wishing to be enrolled.
Please note you will be asked to provide proof of residency with your application. Current proof of residency at the address indicated can be provided by submitting one of the following documents from both the primary and secondary source as listed below.
- One primary source - a current lease agreement, rates notice or unconditional sale agreement; and
- One secondary source - a utility bill (eg electricity, gas) showing this same address and parent's/legal guardian's name.
Along with enrolment application forms we will need to sight each child’s original birth certificate.
Once the application for student enquiry is received, you will be contacted to provide proof of residency before progressing to the next stage.

Transition Statements
If you are a kindergarten teacher or a future Prep parent, please be advised we welcome kindergarten transition statements at the following email address: transitions@mangohillss.eq.edu.au
Transition statements are an important piece of information, as we work in partnership with our kindergartens and our families to transition our students successfully to school.
Mango Hill uses a Student Resource Scheme (PDF, 169kb) instead of booklists. Please consider payment of the Student Resource Scheme and Voluntary Contribution.

Out-of-Catchment Applications
Families wishing to enrol who live out of catchment need to complete an Enrolment Enquiry Form by clicking here. Names will be recorded in order of submission and added to the waiting list.
Mango Hill State School recognises as its prime obligation, the provision of access to an appropriate educational service for students whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area. Because of enrolment capacity and growth, Mango Hill State School may be unable to meet this obligation in the future unless action is taken now to manage enrolments.
Playgroup
We have a free weekly playgroup each Friday morning from 8.45-9.45am during term time catering for toddlers through to pre-prep children. All families are welcome to attend. Our playgroup coordinator looks forward to meeting you!
