At Mango Hill State School, we are committed to excellence for every student. Through our multi-tiered system of support (MTSS), we respond to students’ learning needs, strengths and interests through universal, focused and intensive teaching, to support and extend.
In addition to support and extension provided by the class teacher, students may receive input from our broader multi-disciplinary team, including teacher aides, inclusive learning teachers and school-based specialists such as our Guidance Officer, Speech Language Pathologist and Student Welfare Officer. Where appropriate, support may also be sought from Department of Education specialist services, including State Schools Nursing Services, occupational therapists, physiotherapists and advisory visiting teachers.
Student support and extension are planned in partnership with students and families, with a strong commitment to home–school partnerships that promote positive educational achievement, belonging and engagement.
